Major Milestones in Our Journey
Brice, a licensed civil engineer with 25 years of experience, began a career pivot into technology by enrolling in a software engineering bootcamp (April 2024 – March 2025). During this time, Brice developed a passion for building tools that integrate AI, data science, and real-world applications — especially in areas overlooked by traditional education systems.
In April 2025, Brice enrolled in a second bootcamp focused on Data Science and Generative AI, deepening his skill set while actively building personal machine learning projects and blogging about the process through his "Pencils & Python" series. Around this time, he met Brian, a student advisor and career support specialist, and the two quickly discovered a shared frustration with the limitations of existing bootcamps. Recognizing the gap between education and industry readiness, Brice and Brian co-founded Learning with Data Forge to create a new kind of learning environment — one that emphasizes real projects, career portfolios, and AI deployment—not just theory. Together, they began developing a flagship curriculum that merges data science, GenAI, software development, and career-building practices into a single, outcomes-driven program. The website was launched, early marketing began, and initial interest from the community validated the need for a new standard in AI education.
Winter 2026: Official launch of Learning with Data Forge's first cohort. Flagship program: 12-month Generative AI & Data Science track. Emphasis on project-based learning, GitHub portfolio development, and internship preparation. Targeted at career changers, technologists, and professionals entering the AI-driven workforce.
